Not all preempts are created equal! In fact there is a wide variety of hands that should or should not open with a preempt, depending on seat, vulnerability, and even the suit in question. Forget the idea of “2 of the top 3 honors, or 3 of the top 5.” Most preempts look very different.

This 2-part series will teach:

* When you should open a preempt in First, Second, or Third seat

* Why you don’t preempt in Fourth seat

* The difference between preempting at the 2-level, 3-level, and 4-level

* When partner should pass, look for game, or even try for slam

* Some tools for partner when they have a strong hand after you have preempted

Each lesson will consist of an interactive lecture with demo hands and a session on Shark Bridge during which you get to practice what you're learned. You'll also receive access to our Learning Center that will have pre class notes, hands played with the ability to practice on your own later as well as recordings of the lectures for your review.
